Ayurveda is an ancient system of healing that has its roots in India. It is translated to mean “The Science of Life” and becoming familiar with even basic concepts of the vast world of Ayurveda can help us to make profound changes to promote health, happiness, and longevity.
In this workshop we will discuss the basic principles of this profound system as well as simple strategies that can help you to start feeling better right now! After our discussion we will do a short gentle yoga practice and a long relaxation.

Elise Greenspoon is a regular yoga teacher at the Yoga Temple and a passionate practitioner of yoga and Ayurveda. Over the last 20 years, she has had the opportunity to travel to many places around the world to learn, teach, and share various forms of yoga, Ayurveda, and other healing modalities. With a humour and a light heart, it is her mission to share all the tools that she has learned which have impacted her life so profoundly.
