Hi, I’m Jen Rodd, born and raised in South Africa, where I grew up in the bush with mountains, farm life, and three older brothers. Lived in London for 8 years, Now living in the Netherlands with my Dutch husband and our two children since 2009.
Yoga has been my constant since 1997, long before it became trendy. I am a Traditional Hatha Yoga teacher (Yoga Alliance International), guiding classes with classical sequencing: meditation, warm-ups, sun salutations, backbends, forward folds, spinal twists, inversions, balancing postures, pranayama, and finishing with shavasana. I focus on strength-building through longer-held postures, core stability, and mindful alignment, while keeping classes real, down-to-earth, and enjoyable. Corrections are verbal and aimed at safety, allowing each student to tune into their unique body.
I am also a Master Life Coach (15+ years), trained through Richard Bandler’s NLP certification, occasionally offering directional coaching to help people find clarity and confidence in life.
At the start of each class, I set my sankalpa:
to offer my students confidence, self-love, and presence through their practice.
