While there are countless styles of physical yoga practices (known as asanas) ashtanga vinyasa yoga is one that has stood the test of time, and has become the beloved spiritual practice of millions of people around the world.

Ashtanga yoga is often called a ‘moving meditation’ and is an amazing tool for our times to help us transition from the fast-pace of our busy lives and allow us to be more grounded and in tune with the present moment.

Many of us are initially attracted to the physical benefits of the path. But as the months and years go by, there becomes a great, almost alchemical change within. We might ask: what is it that is actually changing? And how can we use these transformations to help us in other areas of our lives?
