In Yin-Yang yoga class, several types of yoga are practiced. Dynamic flowing movements (Yang) are alternated with stilling postures (Yin) that are held longer.
The Vinyasa and Ashtanga provide a powerful and vital body. The Yin poses focus on the deeper connective tissue,
muscles and organs and bring you into contact with the silence within yourself. This helps you to create a healthy balance between body and mind.
At "Gentle Yin-Yang" classes, the emphasis is more on the Yin yoga form.
